Editorial Policy

This policy explains how Prime Capital Report researches, writes, reviews and updates its content. Insurance and money decisions affect people’s lives, so we hold every article to the standards below.

Primary sources first

We build each guide from primary sources. These include insurer websites and policy wordings, provincial and state regulators, rate filings, government agencies such as the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada and the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, central bank data and official statistics. Each article lists its sources and links to them.

No invented numbers

We do not publish made-up quotes, average premiums or savings claims. When we cite a figure, it comes from a named source with a date. When a number varies by driver, home or health profile, we explain the factors instead of guessing a price.

Independence

Advertisers do not choose our topics, review our articles or influence our conclusions. Ads on this site are served by Google and other ad networks, and we do not control which ads appear. Insurers and lenders do not pay us to be included or ranked.

Updates

Rates, laws and products change. Each article shows when it was last reviewed. We recheck guides on rates and regulations at least every six months, and sooner when a regulator, insurer or government announces a change.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and note the change when it affects the meaning of the article. You can report an error through our contact page.

Use of AI tools

We may use software tools, including AI, to help with research, drafting and editing. Every fact is checked against the source linked in the article before publication, and Prime Capital Report remains responsible for what we publish.

Not advice

Our content is general information, not personal financial, legal or insurance advice. Please read our disclaimer.
